Preparation for Confirmation
Children for confirmation complete the “You Shall be my Witness” programme, prior to receiving their Confirmation. Confirmation in Claremorris takes place every year which includes Meelickmore N.S., Boys N.S. and Muire gan Smal, while Barnacarroll N.S. and Gael Scoil Uileog de Búrca alternate every second year.
The Parish Confirmation took place on Saturday 8th February 2020. We would like to congratulate all the children from Barnacarroll N.S., Meelickmore N.S., Muire gan Smal and the Boys N.S., who received the sacrament of Confirmation this weekend, we would like to thank the parents and teachers for all their work in preparing the children for their special day. We especially like to thank all those who helped out with the “You shall be My Witness” and all the young people in the Peer for Peer programmes.
